How do modern mobile phone communications work?
For this project, I had to design a booklet. I also had to include a style from the 1950's which will be used in my work. I began to research into Pop Art, Books, Posters and magazines of that era. After having some feedback, I noticed that the original typefaces I had chosen were too hard to read.

Artist Research - Eduardo Paolozzi
Eduardo was one of the founders of 'Pop Art' along side two other artists. His early work takes an ironic look at the American lifestyle. His peice 'Bunk' was illustrated by a number of collages created from American magazines. His work has inspired me as it's a great example of the Pop Art era, with it's bright colours and exciting illustrations. I enjoy how his work has a fun feeling towards it while looking smooth.
Artist Research - Tom Eckersley
Tom was known for creating posters for London transport. I chose to look at this artist because of his simplicity and classic look in his work. I think his posters are in a way relaxing and dont strike out at the viewer like many do during the Pop Art era. I used some of the simplicity in my designs as I think it gives a clear message across and doesn't get to confusing.
